Default 2006 Monte Carlo Blend Door Actuators

Can someone please tell me how to access all of the blend door actuators? does the dash have to come off to access them? I know there are three of them, I hear one malfunctioning behind the glove box and one that sounds like it's behind or just to the left of the radio. This is a dual climate system and i have had the blend door actuators replaced four times when the car was under warranty, and now, no more warranty and it's doing it again. Thanks much.

The passenger side one in the glove box is actually the easiest of the 3 to get to.

Just take the glove box door off, and you can reach in, undo 3 screws and unplug it. Then just replace in reverse

The driver's side one is tough to do, you have to take the kick panel off under the steering wheel, and squeeze your arm up a tight area to reach the same 3 screws, and plug. That one took me a good hour to get through. The passenger side one was maybe 10 minutes.

Just got done doing both actuators on the passenger side. As stated, they are behind the glove box and yes the bolts are 5.5mm... a little bit of a pain to get to but not too bad. Don't forget to reset the A/C controls. You have to have the key in the ignition in the off position and pull the HVAC fuse out for 60 seconds then reinsert the fuse.

Ok, still have not done this as life has happened! But, I am ordering the parts today. Does anyone know if the part numbers are the same for the driver and passenger sides? I know that there are three actuators, just don't know if they are all the same. Thanks again for ally of your help!

They are the same part number.

This is what I used for both driver and passenger side on my 07 Impala:
