Default 2006 Monte Carlo Blend Door Actuator Single Climate

I have searched and seen tons of threads about actuator problems for dual climate systems.

I have a single climate system on my 2006 LS and would like to know where the Blend Door actuator is located, in hopes that removing the dash is not required to access it. If you set the blend controls to coldest, (seriously one notch above coldest and there's no problem) it start clicking loudly for about 2 minutes before giving up. Then the blend controls function properly until set back to coldest again.

I just got the car 2 months ago from a reputable used dealership. But I remember being told explicitly that my 6 month warranty was drivetrain only. Given the specific behavior, I am first going to try to recalibrate, before talking to the dealership, but would like an answer to my question in case I get turned down.

Attempting the re-learn via fuse pull offered no change.

Hoping that someone can still tell me where the Blend Door Actuator is located in a 2006 Monte Carlo LS, single climate system.

I have a 2003 Monte Carlo SS 3.8L, and I just found the passenger side Blend Door Actuator. The passenger side Blend Door Actuator is located behind and to the left of the glove compartment, or almost directly to the black right of the radio. Access to the part is granted by removing the glove compartment only and having an extended 7/16 socket ratchet. Only two screws need to be removed and the part can be popped out. Please be familiar with the part before pulling it out by googling it first.
