Have a large evap leak code. Was wondering if anyone had a link showing the evap system. Will be purchasing a new gas cap in the mean time to swap out. Hopefully this will be all. Although I am doubting that the gas cap is the problem. Tried listening for a leak back by the gas tank and under the hood but didnt hear nothing nor knew where to look. Any help appreciated.

 

that is most likely what it is, best to start with the cheapest and most common things

 

First thing i would check would be the pcv valve, check to make sure that it is working and that it has not come apart, check the hose that is going to the valve

Somewhere under the hood should be a decal showing the vac. hose routing. This should include evap system.
