Has anyone had a problem with the front end or stearing in there 04 Monte SS. Also I filed a complaint with Chev over the instrument panel not working. They said they review each case 1 at a time. Has Chev paid for you repair? I have 39000 miles on the car. Already replaced the fuel pump, and now having these other issues.

 

i've heard about issues with the instrument cluster needing replaced! nothing about the front end or steering, but i'm sure other intimidator owners will hopefully be able to help! good luck with it, it is a beautiful car by the way!!

 

I also have an Intimidator, bought her used with 85,XXX miles. Bought her this past spring and to date no problems, oh wait, cept for the rear defrost not working. Sorry to hear you're having problems and sorry i can't help you out, but i will bump this for you. Good luck, keep us posted.

 

are you having problem with the speedo not working? like you be going about 35mph and the speedo needle be stuck @ 70?

 

Yes. No speedo, Tach,or oil pressure gages work. My biggest concern is the steering. Chevy said something about re packing it or replacing. Not sure what it is.Steering arm??????Also sun roof not working. Not having good luck with this car,but I still love it. Kind of a love hate relationship LOL.

 

What steering problem are you having? Intermediate steering shaft issue? Read through this:

This is a really common W-body issue- easy to fix.

 

I srayed the ISS with white lithium grease today. I will let you know if it took care of my problem.Thanks

 

for the speedo there's like a little motor for the needle need to be replace. i never took it apart before , but i sent to to guy and he fixed it he also does custom led too in case you want to change your interior looks.
