Replacing fuel pump on my 2002 SS 3.8L today and decided to snow go figure! Can anyone tell me if it can be replaced thru the floor as apposed to dropping the tank???? Any tips on this would be GREAT!

Done and yes you can access the pump from the trunk...took about 30 min............

I have not yet done my M/C but from owning several other GM vehicles you gotta drop the tank. Once you have siphoned out the gas no big deal. Are you sure it's the pump and not a relay?
