Default 2002 MC ls auto 3.4 trac light and trac system function

207,000 miles

it also has abs lights going on i have heard that this could also be a gauge issue and possibly not the system malfunctions as gauge problems are common on this vehicle.. i plan to replace her brakes all around after we get some of the more pressing mechanical issues resolved.. but when i get to the brakes and trac system how do i resolve if it is the gauges causing false indication or if it is in fact the trac system which i understand that the wheel speed sensors may be the cause of this problem and please again correct me if i am wrong ,, i do not drive Chevy i have only been searching forums for answers for a couple of weeks.. i need to help this gal out she has enough issues with a new born who has rare congenital birth defects and has already had heart surgery at 10 days of age. so any help and input right now is greatly appreciated. thanks in advance

For the 1,000,000,000 time of this question, you have a bad hub.

aussiek2000 thank you for the reply,
i did see the sticky about the wheel hub but was sort of hoping it was the sensors as i read somewhere they tend to short with time and mileage. i have never had any easy task on replacing hubs and i have no impact equipment or lift at my disposal
any suggestions that may make this easier to approach?
