I've been having a weird issue lately with my 01 SS. When I am driving with the heat on (it's cold in Iowa) the light on my A/C button will randomly kick on. It doesn't matter what blower setting or what area I have the fan set to blow through. I can also click it off and it may or may not come back on again randomly while driving. Any suggestions? I replaced the blower motor resistor a few months ago and not sure if this has any correlation?

it's normal - a factory thing used in defrost

 

Mine is always lit with the heat on
