moving on, i got the heads back today, im not going to bother decking the heads as there is no warpage to them, i had them cleaned up and fluxed and there good to go...

 

can anyone tell me where this little bracket goes? i got the engine all done and just hooking up all the little things now...

 

isnt it the one that goes to the bck of the alternator??? hooked up with a bar

 

Did you ever find evidence of where the coolant was leaking? You've done a lot of hard, expensive work hoping to fix your problem. Hope it works for you.

 

Yes thats it i found it out when i hooked the alt back up. i drove it just under 100 miles today, runs like a champ. no more coolant leak either. all things considered not to bad as far as cost. only 350 bucks is what i have in the head gasket job....
