2000 Monte Carlo Idle issues
Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone can clue in to what is happening with my Monte. It's a 3.8NA with just over 216 000 KM.
Just recently the engine light came on. I didn't have a chance to get it checked cause my mechanic was closed for the weekend so I have to wait till monday to see what the code(s) are. Ever since the engine light came on I've noticed that the idle is a bit more rough. It's not to the point where it's about to stall but it will jump up to 1500rpms when I'm in either drive or reverse when I'm not stepping on the gas.
Just wondering what your thoughts are so when I see my mechanic I can give some suggestions as well.
