I would recommend doing trans flushes every 30 k from now on.. even though it looks like GM doesn't require it done until 50k.. i think its absurd to go that long without changing the fluid.. Just like the 100k tune up so many manufacturers put out there.. Most plugswould be stuck by that time and could possibly damage the threads from it.. ohwell..

Official cause - Torque converter, metal contamination. At least it runs like a new car now (looks like one too... guess they felt bad, they detailed the whole thing for no apparent reason)

At least its fixed.. I would say you got a good deal if thats all it cost to have replaced .. there is probably enough problems with others that its the dealers way to make sure you come back for another car and not cause too much headache.. if they did what they said they did..
