Not saying a dual intake is impossible, but really challenging given the orientation of the FWD v6.

Honestly, you are probably best going with a pre-fab CAI and calling it a day. Just my opinion.

Well First Thing Is First The 06 Monte Carlo SS Is Not A V6 It Is A Small Block V8 5.3 LS4 But Yes Still Front Wheel Drive....On The Other Hand I Want To Do Something Different, Not Like It Would Hurt The Engine Or Anything, If Anything More HP And Better Gas MPG, Only Thing Stopping Is How To Do It.

My bad, I missed the year and engine of your Monte. But as you pointed out, it's still FWD, so it does come with some routing challenges.

LMAO @ that video.

Ok to run dual intakes unless you're highly modified would be pretty pointless. Especially being naturally aspirated. You're engine is going to only suck in so much air regardless of how many intakes you stick to it. Think if it this way do you think you can fit more of your drink in your mouth because you stick 6 straws in your mouth opposed to 1?

There's no real significant point in the dual air intake (I assume you mean like they run on the LS1?)

You are better off finding a proper cold air intake, with a good heat shield. There really isn't much room in the engine bay for 2 big filters, so you would be running 2 smaller filters with probably little to no shielding.

When you can get one big filter and a good encasement.

I agree with what was said, if it's for performance reasons Just get a well insulated cold air intake and call it good. If it's just for looks i'm sure you can rig something up that looks cool with 2 filters.
