Anyone out there in the colder climates find it takes forever for the Rear Defroster to work on our monte's?

Wish I could give you an answer, but I never get into the car until the remote start has warmed it up.

Actually mine usually has lines melted into the frost in under a minute most of the time, with or without using the remote start. I'm in Wyoming so it's not the coldest place ever, but it's not too far off. I've never had a problem with the rear defrost, I'm usually waiting on the windshield.

Mine was slow to work today since it was -30C....

If you have tint it will damper the time it takes to defrost....

I have an 06 and mine is slow to work also. Seems like if I turn it on and run it for a while and then turn it off for a minute and then back on then it seems to work faster. I do have tint, but it seems to have started happening just lately. No idea.
