Ok, I am sure this has been covered already.
I am about to change out a leaking core and after seaching the web. says something about plastic tabs that need chielsed off.
anybody changed 1 out or know of a post or guide I can review?
Core is ordered and will be picked up in the morning.
Thanks all...

I'm in the process of replacing mine in my 06 but its a bit more complicated than the 00' -05. I have to take out my seats , center console, pull down carpet to get to mine cause of some ducts underneath. Your's don't require that. I have both Haynes manual I can probably scan you the how-to and send it over. Its pretty straight forward.

I did mine when I first got my car. Once you get it apart you will see what they are talking about. They look like little plastic rivets and they are kind of a pain. I left my seats in but if i did it again I would probably take them out. Also when you get the heater core the tubes rotate 180* so compare it to the old one and make sure they are correct before you try to put in. It's a fairly easy job, kinda back breaking but not terrible over all.
