02 Sensor Silmulator
Hey guys, I have a 2001 Monte Carlo SS. I just bought it this past May when a texting driver totaled my Lumina...(no loss to me!)
Anyways the dealership put a new exhaust on the Monte including an aftermarket cat. (No U-bend delete or anything like that.) A month or two ago I got the "P0240" code which I'm expecting to be in relation to the aftermarket cat. I know a few of you have suggested reprogramming the pcm or getting the 02 sensor simulator.
I'm thinking of going with the simulator. Who would be a recommended seller? (Don't have much money as I'm in college) My car is also going into the shop next week as I have an oil leak that I'm expecting to the the lower intake as the valve covers were done recently. I appreciate your help!!!

here you go:
Rear O2 Emulator: 3800 Performance
if you want it cheaper you may be able to find one for sale on clubgp but that may take some time, they're not widely used because people usually get a tune

even better:
$5 O2 Simulator DIY ==56k no way== - Bimmerforums - The Ultimate BMW Forum
looks like it should work for you too

if you read through that thread, they say it's worked on most vehicles, you should post and let us know if it works, that'd be a pretty cheap alternative!
