Hi MCF,
I gotta ask about power steering? There are 3 G bodies in my area including mine. I've seen/heard them drive by. It sound like on all of them, including mine. There is a power steering whine from the engine. I don't know about the others But mine is hard to turn the wheel when I am parallel parking.
My questions:
1) How hard is it to replace the PS pump, seeing as to it's hard just to check the level I assume it has to be replaced from underneath?
2) Is the power steering a problem in these models?
3) is there a brand other than AC Delco, or is the OEM the best part to use?
It's not causing me a major problem now but it's gonna have to be replace eventually. Any insight would be Great!
