00 Monte carlo Idle problems
I have a 00 Monte Carlo SS and it when idling the RPMs jump around a lot between 500 and 1000. I just replaced the Spark plugs and wires, replaced the IAC, cleaned the TB and ran seafoam through it and it still does it, The check engine light is on but I don't know how to get the codes and its been on before this started happening. Any ideas what is causing this?

could be a catalytic converter problem?
Pulled the air cleaner off and used snap ring pliers to take that screen off and sprayed the hell out of it with TB cleaner.
Another thing I forgot to add the car has only 102k and when I am driving it at like 55 the car will shudder really bad and I put it in Neutral and the RPMs jump like crazy, then when its idling I give it gas really fast and it kills over plus the thing lost a lot of power.

The catalytic converter does sound like a good culprit.
The reason I asked about cleaning the TB is that you might have destroyed your MAF sensor by using a product that isn't made for it. Disconnect the MAF and see if your idling becomes more normal or not. If it still does it, then perhaps you can get your cat checked out.
