Unhappy *center console/gear shift squeak?!?!*

New problem! I have this annoying center console/gear shift squeak. I notice it does it randomly or when im on the gas hard. Also, if i hold the gear shift back tight it stops. It sounds like something could use some greasing or something...but I just dont know what. It does it more often on the winter time as well...this has me puzzled.

Does anyone else experience this or know the fix?

Thanks, I just have to find out how to remove the console. I know I can pop up the cup holder and I would have to see how to take apart everything else.

Does anyone know how to remove center console so I can investigate? This problem has yet to be fixed.

I see not many people posted a reply but I recommend finding a guide online on how to remove it or find a friend with car smarts able to remove it and put it back. Maybe you could find a mechanic to do the job for you but if that's the case I would also recommend you stay and watch. My rule is to never trust mechanics if you have to leave it over night. I've seen my friend do way to many swaps in an hour that take est. 4 hours in shops. He never failed me and shops have failed everyone I know.
