*Car Dent Removal w/hair dryer & Compressed Air

RE: *Car Dent Removal w/hair dryer & Compressed Air
that is highly unlikely to work. i work in the paint dept of a collision center and have repaired and restored cars for myself and others since '89. the theory is there but the hair dryer falls short in delivering enough heat. you could leave it on there all day and it wouldnt get hot enough. Unless you were in the desert, and then how would you get power for it?? a cordless extension cord?? lol... anyways..if its a round dent without creases, using a heat gun(like a hair dryer but produces heatnear 1800 degrees)to heat it up but careful to not burn the paint, get it real hot then hit it with cold water via towel, glass, pump bottle, etc,.. it should pop out... only thing is... the round uncreased dent wouldve prolly popped out if you just used the heel of your palm and pressed firmly working from the shallow edge of the dent on the backside if accessible.in the end... kind of a waste of time buta cool science experiment

Car Dent removal with Blow Torch
Hey, Have a dent in your Monte Carlo ? Burn it out with a Torch : )
Full Monte`Scott, thanks for your expertise, and post.
I haven't tried it, but I've read others that say it has worked.
I think it all depends on the type of dent, & on what section of the
body it is contained. I think I would prefer to use dentless removal.
Thanks for sharing your experience/knowledge.
Look forward to your future posts, and I hope that you share more
of your tips/tricks on auto body repairs.
~ Peace `Space ~
