Hey everyone! I know there's a lot of attention being given to the Nats at Carlisle this weekend, but I was wondering if we could get the ball rolling on a possible meet in downtown Pittsburgh sometime this summer. I know John (tubo monte) is from the area, maybe you have some input on this? I'm not sure how many members are relatively close to the 'Burgh that would be willing to get together. I just thought it would be a really fun time for a Saturday morning/afternoon especially since Pittsburgh is such a beautiful city and has MANY great photo locales and places to gather. I would be down for this as long as I'm not out of town working. Only thing I will say is the burg is nice but I don't know my way around there to well i try to avoid it. It's too busy and crowded there for me. How's the outskirts of Pittsburgh instead like monroeville, robinson, North park, pittsburgh mills etc. Either way I'm down for this it would be awesome!

I know the downtown area moderately well maybe for just a short cruise, especially on the South Side, but yeah meeting in Monroeville Pitt Mills etc would be cool too. Hopefully we can get a few more interested!

I live in the south hills there's a cruise in almost every night from wed-sun around here.
They have small shows and cruises at Mineral Beach to Quaker Stake and Lube.

 

There is also the pittsburgh mills car cruise every Wednesday and Friday evenings. There is the Wexford cruise Friday as well. I attend the pittsburgh mills cruise pretty regularly

 

I am down to do a meet around here. I live in shaler which I'd like 5 minutes from the city.

 

How does this Saturday the 16th or the 23rd sound to yinz? We can work out a place/time if everyone is available.
