Well, from talking to this guy at the car show yesterday (who has been to 2 other nationals) - the guy with the 02 Intimitator - it is a really well run show and there is a place for anyone who wants to wash there car, hose & bucket is set up. Activities if you bring your kids along - just a really fun time and I can't wait!

Yes, indeed. I always stay at the host hotel ... so much easier.

I've been past the place in New Paris, OH quite a few times heading over the Richmond. I know what it looks like.
I AM NOT SAYING IT IS NOT A NICE PLACE.
Just saying don't expect it to be similar to the Holiday Inn is all.
PS. Any of you who do attend the Monte Nats, you better come over and introduce yourself. If you don't know who I am (DUH?) we'll have two cars there. I can post pics of them if there's any questions?

my car is not really show worthy, by the time I get there it will look like crap! also, Amy did you get your registration sent in? it needs to be there by May 2 to get a "participation award"! I'm thinking of sending mine in even if things fall through I won't be out a ton of money just for registering, unless I book a hotel and then can't make it but I'll have time to decide on going!!! sound stupid???
IF... you do not pay the $35 fee to be at the Nationals you will NOT be allowed to park your car with the others there for the event. You will be asked to park out in the general parking like the other hotel guests.
Since paying the $35 fee is only for members of NMCOA, this is why you must first register to be a member, then pay the $35 to be a part of the event. That's why it's $70.
If you're already a paying member then the Nationals will only be $35 for you to attend.
Just passing along some information I did not already see posted.
