It's a 3+ hour drive for me too, but I've never been to MIS and if there's a couple people that want to drive with me so I don't have to go alone that would be awesome!

As a diehard nascar fan myself, I know there something there for everyone at these races...Even Danica gonna be there! (Female nascar driver) The GO Daddy girl!....I think she also has a meet and greet on saturday at the track... and the raceing should be fast with new pavement, as well as exciteing. Gee if im not mistaken....all the chevys in the races are Impalas! They use to be montes woohoooo

Man it is looking like this is gonna be a really good time. I wish I was able to make it but my wife has to work and needs the car. I'll have to work too so maybe next year we'll be able to swing it. Everyone who goes better get tons of pics and post them up.

My friend from Kalkaska is comeing down to MIS....Hes leaveing on wednesday to meet up with us...and will be staying with us for the race weekend....

The main reason that I'm not going to MIS is because my wife is already being generous by letting me go to this. She'll be home alone watching our 1 year old, so I need to get back home at a decent hour, lol.

I've heard of Kalkaska, but I've never been there. I'm not very familier with the Traverse City area though. I live over 2 hours south of there and have only driven through it about 4 or 5 times in my life (going on trips to the UP).
The main reason that I'm not going to MIS is because my wife is already being generous by letting me go to this. She'll be home alone watching our 1 year old, so I need to get back home at a decent hour, lol.

Anyone know how much MIS is? How many miles/hours from the meet?
