Someday when my car is complete in the next decade or so, It's my dream to attend this event! Would be awesome to meet up with you guys when I do!!

 

On the event facebook page they posted its supposed to be 78 and partly cloudy for the event. Perfect weather.

 

Hey everyone, I was just searching google about Racewars to see what kind of local forums were going. Oddly enough, this forum popped up! Certainly something I wasn't expecting!

Anyways, I'll be out there. The Monte isn't quite up and running yet (I've got a 5 day weekend next weekend to finish it up and just got my one off TB adapter from the machine shop) but I'll be out there with my C6. Just got the LT headers put on her, so it should be a fun drive out there. I actually live about an hour away from this place. Not planning to race though, the C6 doesn't really have much done - and I hear the roll racing just sold out a few hours ago anyways.

What time are you guys planning to show up? I'll PM Zippy my phone number if you want to shoot me a text once you guys get settled in. Otherwise I'll just keep an eye out for your cars. I imagine you guys are at least going to be in the show?


Zippy, if I could make a suggestion- when this show wraps up at 6 (or even if you leave before) - I would think about going up to Scottsdale Pavillions. Not sure where you're staying the night Saturday, but I assume it's back in the Phoenix area- so this would at least be the same direction. It will probably take 2 hours to get there though, but they usually have a decent turnout of cars at the cruise in and it's totally free.
