Michigan Ann Arbor MI Meet - 10/27/13
Tadd, thanks. I was actually just going to do hotdogs as well since they're a bit easier than hamburgers. I don't think we need to get too carried away with food but that sounds good. I would say plan for around 8. Also, we will need supplies for grilling then (e.g. charcoal, lighter fluid, matches or lighter, tongs). I can see what I have unless someone else wants to offer to bring those.
I can bring tongs and flipper things (See how much I know about cooking?)
Ill pick up some paper plates, and potato salad, Ill forget about the dogs and buns since you where planning on bringing them
So for me
Tongs,
Potato salad
Flipper things (incase come one brings burgers)
Paper plates & plastic ware
Mustard & ketchup

Matt (06mistreSS).... I just saw this thread while google searching "G8 hood vents" & "monte hood vents".... which is something I was thinking of doing to a cheap used Monte hood by adding G8 vents and depending how it came out then I would swap hoods.... anyways enough rambling ... and I know you have seen the Monte with the GT500 vent... https://montecarloforum.com/forum/general-monte-carlo-talk-9/ssv-sams-monte-recent-mods-pics-41057/

Casey, yes Sam is still in Michigan and I do message him every once and a while. He literally got the car delivered back to Michigan from Utah mid May earlier this year, right before our spring Meet. I keep trying to get him to come to one of our Meets (he told me he is interested in doing so one of these times) but he has yet to be able to make one. I did inform him (today) about this Meet. One of these days we'll get to see that car in person.
IMPORTANT PLEASE READ
I drove through Gallup Park today after work so please advise the following:
1. About a 250 ft. portion just inside the park's entrance is being redone so that portion of the road is down to dirt/gravel. Is anyone absolutely opposed to this? I doubt it's going to be paved by the 19th (although it's possible) and honestly it's not bad if you drive slow enough. Also, where we're parking is far enough away from the entrance that, once inside, we're not going to have to worry about dust. Gallup Park is, in my opinion, the best spot in the area for a Meet and, being just a week out, I would rather not change the location. I at least wanted everyone to be aware of this ahead of time.
2. We will be parking in the second parking lot into Gallup Park. Once entered follow the road and over the wood bridge (one car wide; over the river). The second parking lot is just after the bridge.
