@Rob - It will be great to see another person from here at the GM Nationals. A friend of mine (Bob) will be there and even though he brings a 7th gen, he tends to hang with the 1st gen group.
We don't host any formal meetings. Sadly, a good portion of the group from this site no longer have Montes to bring, but still show up to hang out and have a great time.

I will be getting into town on Thursday and be at the showfield sometime Friday (unknown for how long). I will have my blue and silver 2004 Monte there. On Saturday, I should be fairly easy to spot, I will have a T-shirt on with my screen name on the back of it (I do this to help make it easier to meet and greet people from this site). If you spot me, feel free to come over and say "hi".

 

I will be going down early Friday morning, should be at the fairgrounds by 8-830am. We also have a Carlisle set up Tent for the New York Monte Carlo club so that is probably where I will be! See you all this weekend!

It was an awesome time! I definitely had a blast with everyone.

 

Might have to get a big Monte Carlo gathering at the 2020 Chevy Nationals considering (1) there will be no Monte Carlo Nationals and (2) it'll be the Monte Carlo's 50th anniversary. There has already been chatter of this so I just thought I'd mention it here - Jason knows about it. It's a haul for me but I'm interested and will consider it.

 

I reached out to the person who runs the Chevrolet Nationals, he indicated recognizing the 50th anniversary for the Monte Carlo is in the plans for 2020. This is awesome news. Once I have some more info, I will put out a bigger thread about this. Hoping we can really show some Monte Carlo support in 2020!!
