just curious, in the evenings after the show etc does everyone stick together for food and drinks or does everyone just kinda do there own thing?

 

I will most likely be going with or without the Monte and would love to convoy w/ you and Tim Lieb and anyone else from the Chicago area - I would like to drive down on Friday.

 

We usually go out to dinner as a group and hang out in the parking lot afterwards.

 

sounds like a fun time! im leaning toward coming to this over michigan but we will see. i am still not a member of national monte carlo association, what is the deadline i have to be joined by to be able to show?

 

I just checked the application and it says that they will accept new member applicants and new member registrations after June 1st - so you do a a couple of months to think about it.

Sweet.... I'm meeting up with them somewhere close around me since they have to go through my city to get to Ohio. Closer to the event i'll try to remember to tell you the meet up location.

 

Let me know where the meeting point will be and I will likely join the convoy. I am just East of Muncie.

 

It will more than likely be somewhere off of I-70 East near Greenfield or Mount Comfort.

 

FYI, I just submitted my online application to the National Monte Carlo Owners Association. It appears to be accepting applicants now, but maybe I misread it. Check Matt's post at the beginning of this thread for deadlines.


I am looking forward to going and meeting everyone. My plan is to register for the Nationals as soon as I receive my NMCOA membership confirmation. My wife has approved me going. Now all I need is my boss approval for Friday the 24th, which shouldn't be any trouble. Then barring any last minute emergencies I will be set.
