I'll be there this year.

That's never the feeling I got when I attended in the past (1997-04). After 2000 there were always a lot of 6th Gens every year. Back then there used to be quite a few 5th Gens too. Chevrolet always brought the 5th and 6th Gen pace cars used in Nascar. They also brought the 6th Gen Intimidator Concept to the show in 1999.

Who cares if it is geared more towards the older generations - they are all Montes and it's a fun car show. Every Monte has a class to enter in so I don't know what the big deal is. Do you not attend regular car shows because the majority of the cars are of the older generation?

 

I felt very welcome last year at the Monte nats. Great bunch of people. 6th and 7th gen Montes actually got awards too.

 

According to your poll Tad looks like you and I are the only 2 running together to the Nats?

Lizzy found out today, That she cant get the time off work.(she was gonna switch some of her vaca time) So, it looks like I'll be attending without her..

Now I just have to figure out how im going to get my scooter in the car
without dirting up the Monte...lol

This will be the first time in 9 yrs, That we wont be traveling together...
