I know some people have talked already about the Monte Carlo Nationals in Tennessee. Another large event in the GM car world is the annual GM Nationals held every year in Carlisle PA.

Adult Admission: Fri.- Sun. $8 / 3-day Pass $15
Child Admission: 8 and under - FREE
Gate Times: Th.-Sa. 7am-6pm / Sun. 7am-3pm
Gate-N-Go Deadline: May 21, 2012 (register here)

FYI - Tip for hotel booking - The officially sponsored hotels are filling up. I was not able to find one closer then 17 minutes away that did not want double the price. BUT, my wife found better lodging (closer to the event and reasonably priced) using KAYAK - Cheap Flights, Hotels, Airline Tickets, Cheap Tickets, Cheap Travel Deals - Compare Hundreds of Travel Sites At Once. Looks like they had some good hotel options that are not available on the official GM Nationals website.

Jason, are you planning on staying the whole weekend? I'm don't know for sure, but I would like to go........

 

I will arriving sometime on June 22nd (Friday) and not leaving until the 24th. The hotel is booked, next step will be to register with the actual event (I figure, I'm going all the way there, I want to put my Monte on the show field).

I'm hoping to use this thread to see who else will be making an appearance. I'd love to meet-n-greet other fellow MCF members. I've been messaging with Montilicious here and there, she said she might try and make it this year. Chibi I believe said he'll be showing on Saturday only (I'm sure he will chime in and update us with his plans).

Thanks CHibi! I hope we can get a good crew together to meet-n-greet at the GM Nats! So far we're off to a good start

 

Camaro Nationals (which GM Nats piggybacked off of till a couple years ago when the Camaro group decided to move and go back to doing their own event) is the same weekend so if I go anywhere I'll be going there in Frederick, MD.

 

UGH are they splitting from the GM nats again?

They need to stop having arguments and just be part of the fun again.
