Default pictures on home page

how do you get your pictures to show up on the home page in the photo gallery? I've been trying to figure it out and haven't found much of anything

You had to be here a while ago when they first implemented that feature and grabbed the photos from albums.

We have no control over it, and you can't get your car into it anymore.

Like Mike said, the forum's software picks gallery pictures at random and puts them up at the top of the homepage.

Well... that's what was supposed to happen.

The software never did pick randomly like it was supposed to. It chose pictures from the first batch of photo galleries, and just keeps cycling through those pictures.

All of Internet Brands automotive forums have the exact same problem. The tech department tried to fix the software problem, but it never did work properly. They said, WTF? After many tries, they just gave up on the idea. New forums don't have the picturess at the top. But they just left it running on the existing forums.

Every now and then, I notice pictures that I haven't seen before. So once in a while during a vernal equinox in a month with an "e" in it, it decides to work properly. But only if it's not raining outside.

This place has a ton of non-active members. Or ones that join, say hi, ask a question, and never come back.
