Default just a suggestion

it'd be nice if the forum was split up a little bit more.. there may not be a lot of monte carlo owners.. but there are plenty of different types of engines out there, from the ls4 in the 07 ss, to the 3400, 3500 3900, and the early generation monte carlos.. that way if we need help..we know where to go.

i like your suggestion but i like it the way that it is cause i gain a lot of knowledge from the other mc owners even tho i dont own that particular engine.

I also have learned alot from people with other engines than mine also
i like the idea but also think that it would split up the forum a little if people would only visit thier engine sub-forum just my 2 cents though

i always found this forum similar to the dakota one i was on, i find that the forums that have so many different sub forums the people get a little more grouchier, we try to be a friendly neighbourhood here, so if you have any questions just feel free to ask,

i think in a forum that had 400-500 people that would be definetly a good thing...but splitting it up light that with a forum that has 40-50 active member's might stretch it out a little too much

I don't know, I have an '06 but since I've built and owned many older cars, I know a lot more about 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gen Monte's than my own.

This is has not become a highly technical forum yet. We have only a couple of real GM techs here.

For real mechanical help, Yahoo groups has been my best resource.

Seriously though guys, I'm impressed by the number of mechs that actually come here, or own Monte's, I' know two myself that own them, just in eastern Iowa. I mean, maybe they get good discounts or something, but it really truly is impressive.

You have to figure the GM Mechs know a good Chevy when they see one.
