Member accounts can't be de-activated without an admin. An admin can delete your account. But it's an irreversible process. Once your account is deleted, it's gone with no going back. All your posts will be re-labeled as "Guest".

When I was admin, I suggested the same thing Jason did. If you don't want to be a part of MCF.com anymore, simply don't log in to your account.
