It depends what your looking at, as far as amps, I like Kenwood, i havent had much experience with power acoustik, i would think kenwood subs would be better also but then again havent had much experience with power acoustik

The short: they are both average amps each do a little better in some areas and worse in other areas but they are good amps
the long :
they are both budget amp manufactures. I have sold and installed and used both of them when I first was starting out in car audio. The biggest things you are looking at is the price and what RMS the watts are on each of the amps you are looking at. Not the peak out put .That way you get the biggest bang for the buck .
To really help you we would need to know what kind of system your trying to make, what kind of sub ,deck, are you changing out the mids and highs ,ect ,ect. We will need more info to help you more

i dont like kenwood, had bad experience with them, they ocasionaly throw out a good item..right now none of there amps are anything to write home about, they used to have a really nice one for running active. but with the direction processing is going, really not usefull to have cross overs in amps anymore anwyays. i don't know much about PA amp's but like he said, there both budget amps. they'll give you budget sound. i'd go with alpine, jbl, rocker fosgate. these guys wont let you down i perosnaly like alpine amps and JBL speakers.

Eviling, I just installed an Alpine head unit (http://www.alpine-usa.com/product/view/cde-103bt/) Infinity Reference 6.5" speakers in the fronts. What amp would you suggest for me if i'm just looking for a good quality sound not neccesarily the loudest sound. Should I go with the Infinities in the rear or would you suggest another brand? Thanks in advance for your help

well with that kind of gear, i think this would satisfy you

the best part is, its plug and chug, for mounting, i'd suggest the cneter console, pick up the rub mat theres 1 screw, thats all that holds down the top peice of the console and blam, mount it in there and your g2g. just rout the harness up behind the deck, plug one your chords in and your good to go.
you can see how much space there is in this picture
in mine now i have a back up battery for my car alarm in there. great dead space for stuff like that.

It all depends on the line of product you're talking about. There's some PA stuff I like better than Kenwood and vice versa.
