what wires do i need to change out my head unit? what head unit is the good type for the 7 gen monte? the reson why i am asking is the original head unit looks really big for a single disc player?

i do have anouther wuestion is will changing the head unit affect the security sestrm. that is what i am worried about and will the new one work as good when i turn the key off like the oem?
