im goin crazy tryin to wire up the light for my boost gauge and i need to know wat wire it the hot for the auto headlights comeing off the switch...please and thank you.

 

figured it out... in case nyones wonderin its the brown one with the white line in it.

 

I'd love to see pics of how you wired this. I just tapped into the parking lights so whenever they're on, the gauge backlights are on.

 

alll i did was take a quick splice and pop it on the wire thats brown and white comeing off the headlight switch...lol...first time ripping apart the dash though n didnt realize the bottom needed to come off before the top...lol...but ya...they only come on wen the headlights are on...or to be more specific wen the dash is backlit. i belive the dimmer should work as well on them i just dont know if my leds are suposed to dim...but ya...its pretty straight foward... i be postin pics soon of my entire pod n everything wen in finaly finish.

 

ohh... i forgot... dont confuse this with the black and white wire right next to it...thats for the airbag...lol...wtf it runs through the headlight switch idk...but thats wat the diagram said that wire was...lol
