On the 7th gen Monte, I like the aluminum overlays and the steering wheel are nice changes, but aside from that I think the car was robbed of small heritage pieces. Such as, if I recall the layout of the instrument cluster is different. The '00-'05 cluster having 4 small gauges is something I believe the 80's Monte SS did (just placement varies). Plus the 7th gen Monte has no knight's crest anywhere (it was robbed of the name plaque on the passenger side dash).

I bet that passenger side dash piece on a 7th gen is interchangeable with one from the '00-'05 6th gen. That would make a neat mod (subtle but adds some heritage to the ride).

Pretty easy to remove, just take off all the plastic trim pieces that are holding it on lol

Wow Frank very nice interior refinishing you have done to your Monte. Mine needs a makeover after seeing Tad's and yours....
