i used a product from memphis called the 6. its a line out conveter that turns the speaker wires into rca. it has gain **** for three sets. front/rear/subs. basicly it allows a stock headunit to be used with multiple amps.

there are inline/out adapters that do the same w/o the extras. i believe they go for about 15$ a piece.

i see them on ebay all the time for 100

it also has grounding jumpers that reduce engine noise and such.

they also sell crossovers that do the same. i have the 16-6ix and i belive the crossover is the x03. i would have gotten that but, my am has built in high/low filters.

yeah i bought one of those cheapys for 15 bucks as a temporary thing and iv been using it for allmost 7 months lol. (im not proud of that) i know the manager at a local car audio shop and he gave it to me for 5 bucks.

In simpler words if you dont know what were talking about.

In order to run a subwoofer you need an amp. in order to run an amp you need rca inputs. aftermarket stereos have rca jacks on the back that are made to run amplifiers. stock stereos dont have these rcas. so you can buy this little thing that taps into your speaker wire and gives you rcas so you can run your amp. i tapped into my rear right speaker becauses my amps on the back of my rear right seat. and if your looking for budget this really is the way to go. hop on craigslist and see if you can find an amp and sub but dont buy before you ask because more the half the stuff on there is trash. and then buy your wiring kit on ebay.

not one hundred percent positive what that piece from PAC is all about but it apears to be somewhat of a LOC and an aftermarket deck harness at the same time not sure thought. What the Clean sweep does is give's you a 5 volt preout to your amp, it takes ur analog signal converts it to digital cleans it up with 30 bands of equalization and converts it back to analog so your speakers can understand the signal. Now of course if you dont change your speakers the sound inprovement wont be to great, JL Audio C2's sound great and are a decent priced retail of 199.99 a pair. Great midbass and clear highs.
