Tail light problem
Hey guys I installed my led tail lights and they work fine i tested them both on the left side. My right side isn't working correctly though. My blinker works on both sides and the brakes work fine but why wont the brake light on the right side not stay on all the time during night? I can't figure it out, is there a relay or fuse or something that i can do to fix this, any hel be appreciated.
Plug the Old one back-in and see if you are having the same problem with the old tail-light assembly. If you are you have narrowed it down to a problem with the Bodywork Control Module.
You may have a defective LED Tail-light ... or, the Body Control Module isn't programmed to accept the LED's along the Matrix that Powers the Tail-lights.
I'd put BOTH Old Ones back in and get them working right ... Then, undo the Ground on the Battery BEFORE Installing the LED Tail-lights. When you get the LED's installed with the Battery disconnected ... reconnecting the Battery should get the BCM seeing the new load and processing thing right to light the tail-lights.
If not ... you need to do other troubleshooting up to and including having the BCM Flashed for the Low-power LED's.

good news its not the led tail lights they work fine I tried them on the side that works and both work on the left side, its not the harness holding the light bulbs eithere looks like a wire shorted that goes to the harness from the car. Thanks for the tip.
Problem fixed. In the fuse box under the engine on the passenger side there is a fuse for each side parking light. The fuse did go out. There are no problems with the tail lights or wires. If you got a bulb or something out on your tail lights, check it by using light bulbs that work and if the bulb isn't burnt out its the fuse.
I couldn't figure it out because i went to pep boys and the guy said there wasn't a fuse he didn't see it on the computer when he was lookung it up so i went to my mechanic right behind me and he downloaded a electrical schematic and there he saw the fuse solution.
