Default system improval

Ok guys, I apologize ahead of time for this thread.I know there is a lot of info on this stuff here but I just cant sort through it. I cant put it all together. So sorry for being an indiot lol. The thing is I want to increase the quality of my system. I have two kenwood 6.5's in my doors, 250 watts max 45 watts rms. stock 6x9's. running through the factory amp. Now what is the first thing I should do? Is there a way to isolate bass from my door speakers and isolate highs and mids from the rear speakers? do i need subs? seperate amps? I am totally lost guys. I need some rescuing. I did do my speakers and hu myself and it was really fun. Just want to make it better. my clarity is pretty poor at really high volumes. I would love to have it really loud but clean and crisp too.

I would try a new 4 channel amp maybe 80-100 watts per chnl. and new 6x9's.I have infinity kappa's. run rca's from your new hu. and bypass that fact. amp. you might not not need a sub right away unless you want some serius seat buzzing bass ( don't we all )
