Sundown SA 10 Problems

Default Sundown SA 10 Problems

Hi everyone im new to the forums I hope I am posting in the right area if not the I apologize ahead of time my name is jesse im from indiana I have a 2006 MC LTZ with 75000 miles ive only had it for about 4 months and i love it so far but here's my problem I recently purchased a sundown sa-10 d2, a audiopipe apsm 1300 im running 25' of 4ga power wire 3' of 4ga ground wire I am using a scosche loc2sl lineout converter hooked up to my rear speakers I have a 80amp fuse within a foot of the main fuse block under the hood I am getting 14.5 volts to the amp I have a clean ground on the strut tower my sa10 is reading 2ohms per coil I have it wired parallel so its at 1ohm the apsm is 1ohm stable I built the ported box to sundowns specs and I have a scosche 500k mini cap in line with the amp I know its not really worth using but i got it for free but my problem is the sa10 is 600rms and I have it wired to 1ohm and the apsm is rated at 1000rms @1ohm but my sub is not putting out any real power I have adjust the gain, bass boost, and lpf on the amp and the subs cone doesn't even barely move just slightly vibrates any help is greatly appreciated you can pm me if you want I will answer any questions as soon as possible

Did you Adjust the settings on the line out converter? I know the one I had needed to be adjusted to get sound I do believe.

Yes I tried adjusting it I actually had it hooked up wrong at first had positives and negatives backwards but it still put out audio then i fixed the wiring and its the same but it has 2 adjustment ***** for the left and right rca channels I have turned both all the way up and down I tried turning only one up at a time and you can tell that it makes a difference when both are turned all the way up but not much the thing that gets me is I can unplug one rca cable and the output stays the same but it doesn't matter which one i unplug and I know the wiring is right now I have the positive and negative wires off the converter hooked to the capacitor terminals

Turns out the problem was the lineout converter I installed a new kenwood radio and DAMN!!!!! I can see why everyone loves the sa series I have never heard one 10 hit so hard but now that I installed the radio I used the scosche gm3000 interface and the radio works fine but I have no sound out of my stock speakers anyone have any ideas ?
