sub
ok so i have been lazy as usual and havent gotten around to selling my old sub that was in my truck 10" mtx 5500 and i now have 2 10" mtx 7500 with a 1000 watt alpine amp but any ways i was starting to think why sell it if there is some way i can mount it inside the car i dont wanna put it in the trunk but does anyone know if you can get a sub inside the actual cab of the car like under the rear seat or anything im up for some creative ways
yeah thereis, take out the back seat and make a wall for the trunk and then you can mount all of them right in to it and make them fire in to the back of the seats.
then you could make the back seat fit in there where it wont hurt them or the apperance of your car.

unfortunatly that way would make for some terrible sound qualkity though. MTX 5500-7500 require lots of airspace, and the possible 1 cubic foot you would get back there definatley wouldnt be enough. Nt to mention, the sub requires the space between the cone and the back of the trunk to reproduce those low frequencies, when you put them in such a tght area, frequencies cancel out. Good luck though.

I've never looked under the seat to see how much, if any, space there is so I can't really say if it can be done or not. On that premise, I agree w/roadshoptuner, mainly because if you don't have an enclosure with enough volume for the sub it will sound awful.
