stock amp on monte carlo

I want to say it is 35w RMS per Chanel at 2 ohms per Chanel most car 6X9s (back deck) and 6 1/2 (door) are 4 ohms /now that is not to say that you can not get 2 ohm versions of these speakers that will work for you but if you are going to spend the money you can get a bigger variety of speakers at the 4 ohms and better pricing but you will have to buy a new amp for your car
I hope this helps and only you can make the decision and know how much money you have to spend good luck
options stated above are just my opinions

wel i have an entire system but i dont feel like wiring everyhting, espeicly with a stock amp, theres so much more to take care of, it'd be easier to just keep it, plus its a pretty nice sounding amp, and it must be more than 35 rms, hell a standard deck will put out 18 rms. i'd prefer to just go with something more simple. i was thinking of just replacing the speakers and droping my 12" polk sr and my alpine pdx 1.1000, that'd be good with the pioneer 4200 dvd i was looking at putting in, with gps package, and everything. that is what i plan, havn't decided on speakers, probobly some hertz, and might just leave the rear 6x9"s out for sub porting to cabin. or put in 6 1\2" and a 6x9 bracket with porting.

i do my own installs and i think i'm going to keep stock amp. it's just simpler that way. and the after market amp is really just a pain. the sub is easy, only 2 runs and no speaker wires to run through paneling and all that bs.

300 amps, you do spl comps? what are you running like 4k watts? your pictures don't show the install :- \ or i dont understand the system properly. not sure lol
edit - i wasnt signed in, duh lol.
oh, you should know. cross overs insdie the door = no no watter def gets in there, especily on a car almost 10 years old. wrap that **** in a bag, even with new seals that bitch leaks, but i was curiouse about those mountings, i'm glad i found somebody with pictures. answered alot of questions, looks like i'll be able to fit some tweeters down in the kick panel pretty easily as i had though, mine has the stock 2 way fronts, it doesnt appear that yours had that.
are those l7's? i am a big fan of those subs, awsome subs, they're the 15" ones right?
out of curiosity, where did you run your power lines? i was thinking about running mine down the center consol, the corner panels don't appear to have enough room for any wire.
