if they are not stock in your car im not real sure but i belive it is just a harness that plugs in to teh back of the radio and under the dash on the steerign colum

If you already ahve them in the wheel it is a matter of just getting the proper harness to interface them with the radio you have. if your talking after market any stereo shop can take your money for one .

I have the controlls in my wheel and they dont work anymore because i have the after market deck, and it has a remote so i actually dont miss them but do plan to make them work again here shortly just so i can have them function the right way.

Well I dont have the controls in the steering wheelbut I do have the stock radio. I dont want to get a new one cause it just attracts attention. Besides my speakers sound great with the stock in. I just want to be able to control the volume with the sterring thats all.

I had just a cassette with my stereo. The dealer gave me a nice coupon to get a good setup in- already had the steering wheel controls (never had them in a car before and thought it was way cool). I had to wait for the stereo shop to get the right harness/setup for the Alpine they put in. Bonus was that I still had enough left on the freebie from the dealer so that they gave me an MP3 attachment for it as well. Now I have CD, MP3, along with a nice stereo, all the fun stuff along with those controls.... gotta love custom stuff.

yeah your right mine draws attention but then again it dont Most folks that live around me have no clue what is in the car.
even the folks i work with that have rode in the car know what it can do. I keep it turned down when they are in the car and closed up so it dont look like it is the DVD.
But i also take the face and set the alarm on the car. So if they get it then this is what they were hell bent to do anyway.
regardless of if the stereo was good or not if they want in to the car or to take the car they will do so.

the one they stole from me didnt have a stereo at all that was visabel from the out side of the car.
and they took it also.
So the best you can hope for is to make it as good as you can to keep the honest folks honest If htey want it they will get it.
Also try not to leave3 anythign in there that you cant replace.

Good luck.
