shifter light went out

Default shifter light went out

okay well as the title says the lights that light up the P/N/R/D you get the point. it went out. it doesn't come on anymore.. i didn't see a bulb type for that and i was thinking of just running a blue Led strip under there. is it already wired? and theres a bulb down there? i had that whole thing opened along time ago but i don't remember seeing a bulb or wires..? any help would be appreciated thanks!

wait, the lights under the milage counter thinger? those should never go out...the whole unit is likley bad. your going to have to have a certafied chevy machanic look at it.

no no the shifter light on the floor. when its night time it lights up orangish but mine doesnt turn on anymore

I've got the same problem. I started turning my interior light dimmer switch on and off and they started to work again.

ohh cool man thanks for the tip! im gonna give it a go tonight. do u have to do that every time u get in the car?
