I'm interested in changing my Shifter **** from stock into something custom in my 83 Monte Carlo SS. Does anyone know how to get the stock one off? Is it screw on, clip on, etc? Here's a picture of it.
I'm pretty new to this car, so my apologies if I don't know much.

I believe those pull off. At least the one on my 84 did.

Yeah it pulls right off (check any performance places for *****)i got mine from Ididit couple yrs of ago then went to floor shifter.
