Default Seat Bracket in a 88 Monte

I need to change my seat bracket. the driver side front left rotted and broke. How do i do it? are they studs that are in the floor or are they changeable bolts? I tried taking one out and it snapped.

they should each have one bolt going into the floor, well one for front of track and one for rear of same track. Then you will have to remove from seat and replace. Check Ebay for any seat track and you should see what they mount like.

They are not bolts, they are studs welded to the floor. the holes in the seat track goes over the studs and a flange nut holds them down. If the stud breaks off, there are mounting boxes welded to the floor. You will have to weld a new stud on the mounting box, or perhaps you can drill a hole in the mount and figure a way to put a bolt in from the bottom.
