Anybody here running Rockford stuff in their cars? I love Rockford stuff, but i can only find the rear 6x9's. Anybody got Rockford in the doors? Crutchfield doesn't show anything for the door by Rockford.


Id love to build a whole system for the 04 with just Rockford components.

What are you guys running, i'm not looking for a KILLER system but a nice solid upgrade.

my friends got fosgates in the doors of his fusion sound pretty crisp I like um. But I personally prefer the sound of my eclipses

 

I have all Kenwood (minus the sub) in my Monte, and I've been very pleased with the sound quality so far. I have one 10" Alpine sub because I like crisper bass, and it pounds more than I need. I do use Rockford Fosgate for all of my wiring though, because I was working at Best Buy at the time and got some awesome discounts.

One tip though, if you can don't buy through retailers. I know a lot of people hate eBay, but for speakers it's honestly the best way to go. I'm not an expert in car audio by any means, but retail stores horribly inflate the prices of speakers. My 10" Aline sub was close to $200 retail, and only about $65 with my discount (and my discount was cost - I pay what they paid). Wiring is even more, almost 95% inflated. You can find the same brand new sub on eBay from a reputable seller for around the discounted price if you try.

I have all Clarion components in my Monte. Helps when you have a friend who works for Clarion and can get employee pricing. I paid $513 for my head unit,7 band Graphic Equalizer,6 1/2 components for the doors and 6 x 9 components for rear deck and a 680 watt 4 channel amp to power it all. Got my 2 12 inck kickers and amp off of Craigslist for $200. Very happy with sound quality of my system
