Default Retro-fitting 3 point seat belts

I recently bought a 1987 SS. I have two small kids who love to travel with me in the car and as we all know, kids in the back seat and lap belts don't mix in an accident. I've seen several online companies (Seatbelt Planet, Seatbelts Plus etc, etc) that sell aftermarket
3-point shoulder/lap belt systems. I am considering the non-retractable type because they seem the easiest to install.
Does anyone have any experience with retro-fitting a non retractable 3-point shoulder/lap belt system in the back seat of their Monte. Safety is my first concern for my kids in the event of an accident.
I don't care if it compromises the originality of the vehicle (safety first).

Thanks........

It looks like they have some good options available. My only concern with a non retractable system is are they gonna be able to be adjusted as the kids grow. Also if any other adults ride in the car. I wonder if you could do a retractable system out of a more modern car with retractable shoulder harnesses. I would look over what your car has and try to find a similar system at a junkyard. Maybe even retrofit a set from the front seats of a monte or similar.

I'll take a look when I have time, I remember looking at a write up on how to do it, I was looking it up when my son was born, if I can find it i'll toss the link in here

Seeing that makes me think the front seatbelt Idea would work perfect. just bolt the retractable part in where the original is and the top into the rear deck. Good link Justin.

Thanks Justin and to the rest who gave me some good ideas. The pics and step by step were great Justin.
In researching how to retro fit the back seats I realized that my front shoulder belts don't work either (driver and pass side). It appears that the plastic **** on the door doesn't work anymore and the shoulder straps just move back and forth freely and never lock up under stress.
