Default Replacing the upholstery on doors

I have a '95 Monte and unfortunately the cloth upholstery is to the point of ready to be replaced! I'm thinking of doing it myself. The thing is I live at a condo and I'll need to maybe go to a friend's house to do it!

Now I should I go to a professional? Or am I better off doing it myself. First and foremost is deciding what material: cloth or leather!

are you any good at it? if not definitely a professional because the material can get very expensive if you mess it up.

I would probably recommend a professional as Door Panels have lots of curves etc and can get difficult. But if you think you would like to give it a shot by all mean do it.
