Default Replacing Idiot Lights with Gauges

Hi All:

My 84 Monte currently has idiot lights. I was planning on installing a set of autometer gauges on the center console, but I was able to get a factory gauge cluster on Ebay for a great price.
Does anyone know if I can just pop out the idiot light cluster and pop in the gauges or is it more involved?
I have a feeling there is more to it, but I figured I would ask before I started pulling the dash apart.
Thanks for the help.

I did a swap to a digital cluster with a tach and other gauges on my caprice. All i had befrore was a speedo, gas and temp gauge. I had to find the wiring schematics on the net, luckily most of it was electronic, and i could splice some wires, but in your case, you probably have less electronics and more actual hardware. Take it apart and see what you got. search the net, your bound to find something.
