on yours you'll definitely have to pull the drivers side of the dash apart. (it's not too hard) on the 7th gens you don't have to because there's a cover around the radio and clima controls that hides the screws.

Actually, if you have the radio antenna in the rear window (grid), then you can pull the driver side C-Pillar molding off and get to the same white wire at the antenna module

Ok I took out the radio from the deck and I want to connect the remote turn on to the factory radio, which wire do I connect it to? I tried to put the romote wire in the B3 but nothing happens it doesn't turn on. I don't really want to cut and splice wires in the back of the radio and do trial and error. has anyone done this and which wire did you use so power it up and when the radio is off the amp powers down.

I have a 2007 Monte Carlo ss , I Installed my amp and Hooked the remote wire to the PINK wire to The Fatory Amp , and when i turn my car off the amp stay on . I NEED HELP
