Default Remote Receiver Detached from Windshield

The little wire that attaches to the windshield detached from the windshield. Any idea on how to reattach it? It looks like it was just held on by some kind of glue before. My distance already sucked at about 30 feet due to the known problem with the system, but now I literally have to be within 5 feet of my car for it to unlock. Makes the remote start pretty much useless...

Since you want a conductive connection I would think that a rear window defogger repair kit would work to attach the wire to the window. I had to reattach the metal clip that the wire connects to for the defogger back onto the window of my Blazer. The kit made by Permatex worked great.
